The release of Dexter's Dragon Riders – the new two player Achroma introductory starter set – is just around the corner. It'll be released Monday 18th December, a little later than planned, so we'll be extending the pre-order period, and it includes that sweet discount.
In the meantime, let's take a look at the box contents and the new Keyword 'MOUNT'!
As this box set is aimed at new cardgamers and younger players, you won't find Legendary Achroma cards here. Instead, each 30-card Palette is 'led' by a Rare card.
Haskus and Dexter's Dwelling are backed up by another 28 brand new Achroma cards.
As you can see, some of these cards feature the brand new keyword MOUNT. Let's take a look at what that means:
Exciting stuff, right? Playtesters had a blast with this one, their Drake and Dragon Riders taking to the skies on the backs of their majestic beasts. MOUNT adds a ton of flavour to an already fantastic release.
One more thing we're thrilled to share is a glimpse of the Quick Play Rules booklet. This fold out sheet lets new players jump right into the action with simple-to-follow guidance on how to play your first games of Achroma. It even includes a handy selection of Keyword definitions.
